On tiny houses and making them legal

We have had to fight for many forms of 'alternative' housing — and associated alternative services such as energy water and sewerage — to be legal in our planning and building regulations.

Local Fred Schultz is working with Mount Alexander Shire Council to incorporate regulations for tiny houses as he talks about here:


Some of us in MAEG are very interested in regulation for clusters of tiny housing too, which might take an cohousing form with shared facilities and spaces to complement tiny house living.
